Glow-in-the-dark drumming display ends the action in the ring at Army boxing event

An entertaining show was put on by 1st Battalion the Princess of Wales's Royal Regiment at their Inter Company boxing event on the parade square at the Royal Artillery barracks.

However, this was far from the only action in the ring as a fantastic and eye-catching drumming display, involving fluorescent light drumsticks, took centre stage during the night's events.

The scene could not have been more surreal for the spectators, there in the flesh at the parade square or watching live on the Forces News YouTube channel, all got the chance to enjoy the show with the stunning backdrop of the historical Royal Artillery Barracks.

Ten bouts were broadcast live on the Forces News YouTube channel, with the first six fights of the night failing to go the distance, with a referee's stoppage or a knockout ending things before the end of all three rounds.
