Chinese Volunteers Recognised At Last

96,000 Chinese men who volunteered to work for Britain in the 'Chinese Labour Corps' during the First World War are finally receiving recognition.

Described as 'the forgotten of the forgotten', they undertook essential, often extremely dangerous work behind the lines on the Western Front.

Thousands lost their lives and yet there's no memorial and they've been barely acknowledged.... until now.
