Watch: Crochet poppy 'waterfall' covers Royal British Legion club

A Royal British Legion (RBL) club has been covered in crochet poppies for this year's Remembrance period.

Denise Corbett, a member of RBL Surbiton club, initially thought she would crochet a few poppies to decorate the building in Surrey.

But, with help from 40 volunteers, 5,600 poppies now cover the RBL club.

Denise is my wife, she is incredible. In May, she had this idea to crotchet a few poppies to decorate the local British Legion club for the @PoppyLegion appeal. 40 volunteers, and 5,600 (five thousand six hundred) poppies later, two days of installation, and this is the result. pic.twitter.com/jEV6Ppl1LQ
