North Korea has shown off its missile production capabilities in a night-time military parade.

The nuclear-armed Pyongyang displayed more intercontinental ballistic missiles than it had done in any previous parade – and teased a new solid-fuel weapon.

The military showcase marked the 75th anniversary of North Korea forming its Army, according to state news agency KCNA.

Included in the parade was North Korea's biggest ballistic missile, thought to be able to hit anywhere in the world with a nuclear weapon.

Reports estimate that North Korea has anywhere between 20 and 50 nuclear warheads in its arsenal.
