F-35 jets belonging to 617 Squadron, known as the Dambusters, have arrived on board HMS Queen Elizabeth.

HMS Queen Elizabeth's Twitter account shared pictures of the jets, saying they were "demonstrating their capability to deliver on operations as we prepare for #CSG23".

It comes after HMS Queen Elizabeth recently welcomed a new Commanding Officer.

Captain Will King OBE took charge of the Royal Navy's flagship, replacing Captain Ian Feasey.
