Best of British military music takes centre stage for three nights at Horse Guards Parade

Horse Guards Parade has hosted a Military Musical Spectacular for three days this week, with audiences enjoying three nights of music, military pageantry and pyrotechnics.

Up to 4,000 spectators watched the hundreds of musicians from four nations perform, with highlights including Andrew Lloyd Webber classics and a moving performance by a Ukrainian choir.

The event featured songs from The Phantom of the Opera, Cats, Evita and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, after Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber granted the Bands of the British Army permission to perform his music copyright-free.
