Newly qualified Merlin pilots get their Wings

Eight members of the Royal Navy were presented with their Wings and certificates ahead of joining the Commando Helicopter Force.

Those graduating in the ceremony at RNAS Yeovilton are now experts in all aspects of Commando Helicopter flight, including low-level navigation, night vision goggle flying, mountain flying and gunnery.

The new members of Commando Helicopter Force are expected to report for flight duty as soon as next week.
