A Spitfire And Typhoon Take To The Skies At RIAT 2015

Aircraft enthusiasts were treated to quite a sight at this year's Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT).

A Spitfire flew with a Typhoon as part of the Battle of Britain commemorations.

Visitors to this year's RIAT can also see aircraft from other air forces, which British pilots fly when they are on exchange.

Last year the F35 had been due to make its international display debut at the Royal International Air Tattoo.

However, the aircraft remained grounded in America following an engine fire last July.

There is a full flying display scheduled at the event today and it is all taking place at RAF Fairford, from where Will Inglis reports.
