Typhoons Scrambled to Intercept Latvian Plane Over Kent

The Royal Air Force intercepted a Latvian plane over Kent and accompanied it to Stansted Airport. The Russian-built plane lost contact with air traffic control and caused a sonic boom that was heard by Kent residents.
