Army Specialist Told “Men Don’t Go To Baby Showers”

Army Specialist Reacts To Being Told “Men Don’t Go To Baby Showers”
An army specialist has reportedly been denied leave by his commanding officer to go to a baby shower after being told “men don’t go” to them.

After recieving the denial, the man posted the request on social media.

In the first request he simply gives his reason for the leave as: “Baby Shower”.

However the CO appears to have crossed the words out and written next to it:
“Men don’t go to baby showers.”
After having no success the specialist, who’s believed to be with the US Military, tries a different reason to get his leave, writing:
“Going home to the Appalachian mountains to drink whiskey, wrestle bears, and shoot lots of guns. I also plan to grow out a beard, chop down a hundred trees with my axe and eat 10 lbs of thick cut bacon with my wife, whom I plan to have lots of unprotected sex with, because I am a man and that’s just what we do. Football.”

There’s no word on whether the man got the leave at the second attempt or if the commanding officer is a football fan.
