Cockpit Footage of F-16s Guarding The Baltic Skies

NATO has released footage of Belgian Air Force F-16 fighter jets in action over the Baltic skies.

It comes after the country, alongside Spain, took over the alliance's Baltic Air Policing missionfrom Hungary and Germany last month.

Spain has provided four Typhoon jets, based in Lithuania, while the Belgian F-16s are based at the Ämari airbase in Estonia, backed up by 50 personnel.

NATO has been protecting the Baltic skies 24/7 since 2004, when Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania joined the alliance.

The air policing missions aim to help nations who do not have their own fighter aircraft to guard their airspace.
