Cosmic Classroom: Forces Kids Treated To A Lesson Like No Other
Children of personnel at NATO’s main military headquarters at Mons in Belgium have joined schools across the UK for a special cosmic classroom with British astronaut Tim Peake.
SHAPE School and several other forces schools overseas were among more than 10,000 hoping to link-up with the International Space Station for live questions and answers.
In the end, no service childrens' school had its name picked from the hat for the in-flight call to Major Tim Peake, but SHAPE School were determined to make it a special day.
