Enhancing The Eurofighter Typhoon With Storm Shadow Missiles

BAE Systems’ Chief Test Pilot Steve Formoso describes how ongoing work on the integration of the weapons as part of Phase 2 Enhancements and beyond further enhances the Eurofighter Typhoon’s potent multi-role and swing-role capabilities.

The multi-million pound programme of upgrades is underway that will see the Typhoon, already one of the most advanced military aircrafts, fitted with systems like the Storm Shadow cruise missile and Meteor long-range air-to-air missile.

Forces TV was given exclusive access in December to an experimental Typhoon fighter jet fitted with the RAF’s latest weapons.
