Exercise Griffin Strike: UK & France Demonstrate Unity
British and French forces have been on a major exercise to demonstrate military co-operation between the two countries.
Exercise Griffin Strike is the culmination of six years of work and aims to demonstrate the ability to deploy on operations as the 'Combined Joint Expeditionary Force'.
Defence Secretary Michael Fallon and his French counterpart Jean-Yves Le Drian witnessed the action on 'Griffin Strike' this morning (above).
Meanwhile, being on exercise didn't stop the British Army, Royal Navy and Royal Air Force from wishing Her Majesty The Queen many happy returns on her 90th birthday!
