Former Apache Pilot To Run A Marathon... In Space

This month a reservist Army Apache pilot will swap the skies of Earth for a place among the stars.

But seemingly that won't provide enough excitement for Tim Peake - so he's going to run the London Marathon whilst he's there.

The Sandhurst graduate is blasting off for a six-month mission to the International Space Station - and will become the first official British astronaut in the process.

Just click above to find out why Tim, who reached the rank of Major during his full-time career, has decided to undertake his marathon challenge during the space mission.
