Gareth Malone In Latest Search For Military Stars

Choirmaster Gareth Malone has launched his latest search for stars - and yet again he's looking towards the military.

Malone hit the headlines in 2011 after creating a choir from wives and partners of military personnel deployed to Afghanistan.

Their song 'Wherever You Are' became Christmas number one, outselling Little Mix.

The following year he launched the Military Wives Choirs Foundation, to support the founding of the groups across the UK.

His new ambition? To set up a 'Heroes Choir' of injured or wounded veterans and have them perform at the opening of the Invictus Games.

And where else would he launch his appeal for singers? BFBS Radio and Forces TV.

Click here, meanwhile, if you would like to find out more about being involved.
