Head Of Army Discusses Future Of Women In Combat Roles

The head of the British Army has been in Germany to see British field units.
 
General Sir Nick Carter took time to speak to the families of 1st Battalion The Princess Of Wales's Royal Regiment (1 PWRR).
 
For the spouses it was a chance to express their concerns going forward.
 
The visit comes at a groundbreaking moment in military history.
 
The British Army has launched a study into lifting the ban on women taking part in frontline combat.
