Heartbreak For RAF At The IDRC

The Royal Air Force have crashed out of the International Defence Rugby Competition in the quarter finals.

They were defeated 13-29 by France at RAF Halton in the day's earliest kick off.

France are through to the semis and will now face Fiji, after the latter won their game with Australia.

But it was a better day for the British Army, who will now take on New Zealand in the semis after the Brits beat South Africa in Aldershot.

The Kiwis had beaten Tonga earlier in the day.
