Tri-Service
Injured Servicemen And Women Race And Soar To New Lives
Injured service personnel have been taking to the skies and the racetrack thanks to two forces charities.
Flying for Freedom and Mission Motorsport help the sick and injured to move their lives forward, with both supported by Help for Heroes and the Endeavour fund.
For Lionel O'Connor, who lost a leg in an IED attack in Iraq 10 years ago, being able to learn new skills and pass them on has been a great experience.
Meanwhile, in the skies over Thruxton, Wiltshire, Flying for Freedom has been taking servicemen and women for flights in microlight aircraft.
