Investing In People A Priority For Armed Forces Minister
The Armed Forces Minister Penny Mordaunt has visited soldiers at Aldershot Garrison to discuss the Strategic Defence and Security Review.
She was driven to the parade ground in an armoured vehicle, to meet 1st Battalion The Scots Guards.
She wanted to re-assure service personnel about welfare issues, such as pay and accommodation. She said:
"You are what make our Armed Forces great and we realise that we've got to keep investing in you... not just for you, but also your families as well"
