On Saturday it started with the Queen's official birthday parade, the Coldstream Guards Trooping the Colour.

Her Majesty The Queen was joined by other members of the Royal Family for the event on Horse Guards Parade, which featured over 1,400 soldiers from the Household Division.

Following the parade, the Queen and the Royal Family gathered on the balcony at Buckingham Palace for an RAF flypast.

31 combat, transport and surveillance aircraft passed over the palace, finishing with a majestic flypast from the Red Arrows.
