Marines Take Over Portsmouth For Navy Christmas Video
The Royal Navy has released its long-awaited annual Christmas video.
It sees shoppers in Portsmouth's Gunwharf Quays being given a festive surprise as the sounds of the Royal Marines Band begin filling the air.
The 'flashmob' proceed to pop up all around the shopping centre to play the 'Carol of the Bells', alongside footage of sailors returning home from deployment to be greeted by their loved ones.
It's all part of the Royal Navy's 'Yule the Waves' campaign to show support for service personnel who'll be away from their families this Christmas.
If you have a family member or loved one away from home over Christmas - whether at sea, in a base, or even on duty alongside on the day - you can send your festive image and message and the Navy will share it on their official Yule the Waves Tumblr (as well as potentially its advent calendar and some of its other social media channels).
Just email to [email protected] or submit via Tumblr. And do please also be mindful of online security and be careful with what you share.
