Matt Dawson On The Military's Sporting Heroes
The top forces sportspeople of the year have been celebrated at the annual Combined Services Sports Awards.
RAF canoeist Squadron Leader Joan Cawthray was named Sportswoman of the Year while Army cyclist Captain Ryan Perry won the men's gong.
The Royal Navy men's volleyball team took home the Team of the Year award, meanwhile.
Guest of honour at the ceremony was former England and British Lions scrum-half Matt Dawson.
He told Forces TV's Jon Knighton of his admiration for the military personnel's successes.
