Military Veterans Protest Over Airstrikes In Syria

Four British Veterans of the Gulf Wars, Afghanistan and Libya have discarded their service medals at the gates of Downing Street.

They were protesting against the Government's decision to bomb Daesh targets in Syria.
 
The four, who are from the organisation Veterans For Peace, called on current service personnel to "search their consciences and do the right thing."
 
Veterans For Peace is an organisation for servicemen and women that have served in every conflict since the Second World War.
