MoD Releases Footage Of UK Pilots Training On F-35

The Ministry of Defence has released a video showing British pilots training on the fifth-generation F-35 Lightning II jet.
 
Royal Navy and Royal Air Force Pilots are currently training to fly the new stealth aircraft alongside their US counterparts at Marine Air Corps Station Beaufort, South Carolina.
 
Designed to perform ground attack and air defence missions, it's capable of taking off from short runways and vertical landings, and is expected to have a service life of up to 2070.
