NATO In Show Of Force As Huge Exercise Draws To Close

NATO has been showcasing the assets at its disposal as its largest exercise for a decade draws to a close.

Exercise Trident Juncture was hosted by Spain, Italy and Portugal, and culminated in demonstrations of sea, land and air power.

Around 70 ships from 12 different nations took part - including the Royal Navy's HMS Bulwark.

It came as NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said a stronger naval force would help the alliance counter Russia's military build-up.
