Prince Harry Marks 75 Years Of Bomb Disposal Bravery

Prince Harry has met the families of bomb disposal experts killed in action.

He was at St Paul’s Cathedral today for a service of Commemoration marking the 75th anniversary of armed forces explosive ordnance disposal units.

The original Royal Engineers bomb disposal unit was formed in 1940.

They disposed of bombs by simply putting sandbags around them and blowing them up.

Today’s service paid tribute to those who served then and in the decades since.
