RAF Targets Daesh Machine Guns And Booby Traps
The Ministry of Defence has released some of the clearest airstrike footage yet from RAF aircraft operating over Iraq and Syria.
It centres on the ongoing battle around Ramadi, with UK jets providing close air support for Iraqi forces on the ground.
An RAF Tornado is seen placing its crosshairs on a building where a Daesh machine gun is firing on Iraqi troops, before firing two Paveway guided bombs in quick succession.
Also targeted was a mechanical digger which the MoD says had been converted into a booby trap. Just click above to watch the footage.
