RAF Typhoon Destroys Daesh Armoured Vehicle
The Ministry of Defence has released new footage of RAF operations over Iraq and Syria in the fight against Daesh.
Taken last week, it shows a Typhoon FGR4 jet targeting a lone armoured vehicle near the oil city of Kirkuk in northern Iraq.
The MoD says it had been converted into a large truck bomb which Daesh had positioned to block the road.
The threat is neutralised, however, when a Paveway guided bomb is fired at the vehicle, totally obliterating it.
