Staring Down The Barrel For Science

Scientist Experiments With Underwater Assault Rifle
Physicist Andreas Wahl has put himself in the line of fire for the love of science.

Wahl wanted to see whether he could survive having a gun shot at him while both he and the gun were submerged underwater.

His confidence stems from scientific reason:

"It's harder to create movement in water than in air, because water molecules are closer together than air molecules."

The caption beneath the YouTube video reads:

Andreas Wahl puts himself in front of a weapon submerged in water and fires it - on himself.
