Syria: The Military Implication Of A 'Yes' Vote

MPs are to debate and vote later today on whether or not the UK should extend its airstrikes against so-called Islamic State to Syria.
 
Royal Air Force jets have been taking part in sorties against the terror group in Iraq from a base at RAF Akrotiri in Cyprus. 
 
But if a vote goes in favour of extending action to Syria, how will that affect the RAF?
