War Memorial To Be Restored To Former Glory

The Bootle War Memorial is to be restored to its former glory. 
 
The War Memorials Trust has categorised it as project of national significance and awarded the local council £120,000.
 
The memorial has been standing since 1922, in memory of the men from the Merseyside town who were killed in both World Wars.
