WATCH: Coalition Airstrike Destroys 283 IS Fuel Trucks

Footage has been released of a coalition airstrike destroying more than 283 fuel trucks controlled by Islamic State militants in north-east Syria.

It is thought the pilots found the trucks parked up together, waiting to be loaded at an oil production point.

IS makes large amounts of money from oil it produces from seized facilities.

Warning shots were reportedly fired to scare away the civilian drivers before the destruction of the trucks began late last week.

It comes after France began launching more missions against Islamic State militants from its Charles de Gaulle aircraft carrier.

The newly-deployed carrier has 26 fighters, tripling French capacity. The attacks hit targets in the IS-held cities of Raqqa, in Syria, and Ramadi and Mosul in Iraq.

French President Francois Hollande has vowed to intensify strikes against IS after the group said it was behind the deadly attacks in Paris.
