WATCH: Coalition Airstrike Hits Islamic State Tactical Unit
Footage has been released of coalition airstrikes hitting an Islamic State tactical unit and destroying a building near Ramadi, in Iraq, last week.
On the same date, strikes near Ramadi destroyed 15 other ISIL buildings, two weapons caches, two tunnels, six fighting positions, two light machine guns, a rocket rail, two sniper positions, five vehicle-borne IEDs, a staging area, two heavy machine guns, two command and control nodes, a supply cache, a tactical vehicle and three bed-down locations.
Meanwhile, a an IS fighting position was suppressed, three IS-controlled roads cratered, a fighter wounded, and the extremist group denied access to terrain.
It was all part of support for the Iraqi security forces in their attempt to free Ramadi from IS control.
