First Aid in the Army has changed dramatically throughout time.
 
In the following video, veterans from World War II, Korea and Vietnam prove testament to the fact by sharing their opinions on the modern day Improved First Aid Kit.

The modern First Aid Kit [pictured], issued to U.S. soldiers for recent conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan comes with a few items some of the older veterans may be accustomed too, such as the tourniquet or the combat gauze.
 
Other items such as the Nasopharyngeal Airway elicited surprised responses from some of the vets, including one guessing whether it was in fact "a suppository?"
