Will Hillary Reveal Area 51's Secrets?
Hillary Clinton will open up the files on Area 51 if she becomes US President.

Some claim the military base in the Nevada desert is the home of crashed UFOs, the site for summits with aliens, and even the place time travel and weather control experiments are carried out.

The site is inside the Nellis Bombing and Gunnery Range, with the military facilities there reportedly known as Groom Lake and Homey Airport.

The name Area 51 comes from a single document released during the Vietnam era.

Its existence was only officially acknowledged in 2013 as a result a Freedom of Information request submitted in 2005.

Clinton told US chat show host Jimmy Kimmel:
"I would like us to go into those files and hopefully make as much of that public as possible. If there's nothing there then let's let people know there's nothing there."

"If there is something there, unless it's a threat to national security, I think we ought to share it with the public."
When her husband Bill was President he looked into the site and found nothing interesting but he did admit stealth technology was tested there.

Among the planes tested at Area 51 were the U-2 spy plane and the Lockheed Have Blue - which developed into the F117 Stealth plane.
