WW2 Veterans Awarded Legion d'Honneur

The captain of a French warship has presented France's highest honour to British World War Two veterans. 
 
The FS Dixmude was in Plymouth following Exercise Griffin Strike.
 
10 Legion d'honneur medals were presented during the service aboard the French assault ship marking the contribution of British World War Two veterans in the fight to liberate france.
