Army Sports Awards: Celebrate the best of the service's sports stars live

It's time to celebrate the best of British Army sport and you can join us live for the Army Sports Awards on Thursday.

The current on-air time is planned for 20:30 GMT with live coverage on the BFBS Forces News YouTube channel and on BFBS TV (for serving personnel overseas only), with catch-up services available on both platforms.

The Team of the Year award has already been announced, and it's the women's netball team who are celebrating after another spectacular year, which was capped off with a tour of Fiji.

The Sportswoman of the Year award is a three-way contest between ice hockey and strongman competitor Paige Attwell, hockey's Nicola George and rugby union's Manuqalo Komaitai.

Taekwondo's Thandor Dlamini, athlete Marvric Pamphile and target shooting's Rob Vincent are all in contention for the major men's award.
