Royal Marine middleweight Kyle Shaw-Tullin strikes gold at the Tammer Tournament in Finland

Royal Marine Kyle Shaw-Tullin has continued his impressive run of form by winning gold in the middleweight division at the 2025 Tammer Tournament in Finland.
Mne Shaw-Tullin beat Australia's Linkyn Macmillan in the middleweight final by a unanimous points decision โ marking his first international win of the 2025/26 season.
He had previously beaten Thailand's Peerapat Yeasungnoen via a referee-stopped contest in round two and Finland's Julian Jalava via a unanimous points decision in the semi-final.
Reacting in a post on social media, Mne Shaw-Tullin said: "This one meant so much and there's nothing better than the hard work and sacrifices paying off and seeing the progress."
The Royal Marine boxer, who is an integral member of the Royal Navy and Royal Marines boxing teams, made an extraordinary debut for England in 2024, before he was invited to join the GB Boxing team later that year.
He hopes to compete at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow โ with a wider goal of competing at the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles.
