British Army Gear Up For IDRC Final
The British Army are expecting a stern test later today when they will try to defend their title at the International Defence Rugby Competition against the Republic of Fiji Military Forces.
The final takes place at the Twickenham Stoop this evening and will be live right here on Forces TV.
Tonight will be the first time the teams have met on the rugby pitch and the defending champions have spent the past few days preparing for the contest at their training base in Pirbright (above).

There has been a long standing joke among members of the Royal Navy and the Royal Air Force that the British Army rugby side is the Fijian national side in disguise, such is the quality of play from the South Sea Islanders who represent the men in red.
Junior Bulumakau, a Private from 1 SCOTS, signed a contract with Guinness pro 12 side Glasgow Warriors at the end of last year.
His father served with the Fijian military before moving to Scotland so this week's showdown will be an emotional affair for the Bulumakau household as Junior told Julian Evans.
