UK Armed Forces well beaten by confident MCC batting performance at Lord's
The women's UK Armed Forces cricket team have been well beaten by Marylebone Cricket Club at Lord's Cricket Ground.
A strong batting performance, led by Isabella Routledge's (72*) and Francesca Sweet's (59*) unbeaten scores, saw MCC set a difficult target of 166/2 in the first innings.
UKAF had Amanda Potgieter firing at the crease with a half-century, but the rest of the order fell around her and they failed to reach the target, losing by 60 runs.
