Army captain crowned Forces Showjumping champion after flawless performance

Army rider Captain Lara Dixon, on her horse Topsy V, has won the 2023 Forces Showjumping final at ExCeL London.

An incredible final run saw Capt Dixon complete her performance with no penalties and the quickest time of 29:15 seconds.

Both Corporal Holly Hall and Captain Mary Pearson were also flawless with their runs, but failed to reach Capt Dixon's quickest time.

The Forces final makes up part of the London International Horse Show and was broadcast live by BFBS for the very first time.

The Royal Navy's only competitor was Leading Hand Robyn McFadden who finished fifth, while the RAF had no riders involved.
