Army and Navy XI comfortably beat RAF in special women's showcase at Old Trafford

Watch: RAF, Army and Navy football stars play at Old Trafford for first time ever

An Army and Navy women's combined team were comfortable winners against the RAF in the first game at Old Trafford for the Forces female stars.

Jade Berrow, Ciara Boylan and British Army captain Anna Birtwhistle were the goalscorers as the Air Force failed to get going at the Theatre of Dreams.

It was the first time the women's team played at Old Trafford after the men's debut appearance there last year.

The match, which was 60 mins, came just two days after the UK Armed Forces women's team won the President's Cup against the Dutch Armed Forces.

There is one more test ahead for the UKAF team - the German Bundeswehr in Germany on June 8.
