An RAF referee wwas the person in the middle of a high-profile Manchester derby in the Continental League Cup.
Corporal Lauren Impey was the official as Manchester City beat bitter rivals Manchester United 2-1 at the Joie Stadium and she gave out three booking in an uneventful night for the officiating team.
The match decided top spot in Group B of the competition and the high-profile appointment is another step to the top for the former RAF and UK Armed Forces player.
