UKAF fight back to draw Kentish Cup opener against the French Forces

The men's UK Armed Forces football team have fought from behind to draw their opening match in the 2023 Kentish Cup.

A tough test against the French champions saw them go in front through Destenay's strike, but a stunning goal from Jake Gosling grabbed a point for the British team.

Both teams missed a number of good chances in an entertaining contest between the two main title rivals.

UKAF will now head into a match against the Dutch Forces on Wednesday - which is also live on the Forces News YouTube channel.

Meanwhile, the French get four days of rest before their battle against the Dutch on Friday.
