Army and RAF storm to victory at Inter Services Indoor Hockey Championships

Watch: Men's and women's titles up for grabs at the Inter Services Hockey championships

The Army have won the men's title at the Inter Services Indoor Hockey Championships after a narrow 6-5 victory against the Royal Air Force.

The tight battle saw last year's winners, the RAF, stage a comeback in the second half only to fall short, with the winning goal taken by the Army's Jordan Hardaker.

Meanwhile, the RAF women mounted their title defence in considerable style as Rebekah Douglas scored a hattrick of goals.

RAF skipper Amy Naughalty sealed the deal with a brilliant goal to confirm victory for the RAF with a 6-2 win against the Army.

With the indoor championships now reaching their conclusion, focus now shifts to the outdoor championships which are scheduled to take place in March 2024.
