RAF Bluewings win thrilling ice hockey final in Cardiff
RAF Bluewings have won the 2023 RAF Championship after beating RAF Lossiemouth Jets 6-3 in the final in Cardiff.
The Bluewings are made up of players from southern stations including RAF Brize Norton, RAF Odiham and others.
They raced into a 4-1 lead in the second period, but a late comeback attempt from the Jets kept everyone on the edge of their seats.

However, as the Jets came forward, it left space at the back for two late Bluewings goals which sealed the championship.
With the win, the Bluewings have retained the title they won last year.
