The Royal Navy U23s have won a feisty Inter Services clash against the British Army U23s in Portsmouth.

In a match that saw the Army receive five yellow cards and a red card, the Navy completed a comeback to win it late through Harry Saunders' try.

This served as the opening match of the tournament after an electrical fire at Witney RFC saw last week's RAF v Navy clash postponed.

The Army made a great start and led through Ryan Eastley's converted try but a burst from Jack Davies saw him put the Navy 10-7 up at half-time.

Kevin Van Der Leest kicked to level the scores in the second half, but after a brawl, the Army were left with just 12 men on the field and Saunders took advantage to seal the victory.
