The Royal Navy Destroyers have won the opening match at the 2023 Inter Services Ice Hockey championships.

A stunning 4-0 win over the RAF was a message to their service rivals about the Navy's title ambitions.

The RAF will now play the Army in match two of the tournament on Wednesday in a repeat of the title decider last year.

Meanwhile, the Navy will play in the final match on Thursday where a win will seal the championship.
