UK Armed Forces women beaten by Dutch Forces on penalties in President's Cup thriller

The UK Armed Forces women have lost the deciding match of the President's Cup after being beaten by the Dutch Forces on penalties.
The Dutch Forces scored the first goal in the first half before Royal Air Force player Pip Wilson levelled the scoreboard at 1-1 before half time.
Seven minutes into the second half the Dutch Forces scored to reclaim the lead, putting them at a 1-2 advantage over the UK Armed Forces.
Pip Wilson was the one to respond to the Dutch Forces' surging start in the second half, scoring a brace to level the scoreboard once again at 2-2 forcing the game to go to penalties at full time.
With a 5-4 win after the penalty shootout, the Dutch Forces retain the President's Cup as they repeat the success of last year's fixture where they also beat the UK Armed Forces on penalties.
The UK Armed Forces women now turn their focus to their fixture against the Irish Defence Forces on 8 June at Quorn FC which will be broadcast live on Forces News YouTube channel and serving personnel can also catch up via the BFBS TV service.
